Selection way : Final selection of candidates for appointment to the above mentioned positions will be based on the performance of the candidates in the written examination, skill test (wherever applicable) and in interview and found eligible as per prescribed criteria.  The written examination shall be OMR based.  Written examination will comprise of objective type questions. The Question Paper for Positions at Sl. Nos. 1 to 5 above, will consist of 85 (50 Technical and 35 General Aptitude); while for remaining positions the Question Paper shall consist of 85 Questions in General Knowledge and Aptitude.  Every question will carry 1 mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 of each wrong answer. The weightage of written exam and interview will be in the ratio of 85:15. Separate skill test shall be conducted for the positions of Stenographers.  The Syllabi for Technical Test for Positions at Sl. Nos. 1 to 5 will be available at url http://recruitment.nielit.gov.in  Candidates who have qualified the written examination will be called for interview and the documents with regard to Educational Qualifications and Experience including Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable) will be verified by NIELIT representatives immediately before interview. All candidates invited for interview will be required to bring all original documents alongwith at least one self attested Photostat copy of each document.  All correspondence will be made through e-mails only and as such the candidates must regularly check their e-mail ids
